Cape San Blas
Beach to Bay: Over 30 miles of Shorelines
Cape San Blas Communities:
Ranked America's #1 Beach, by Dr. Stephen Leatherman, commonly known as Dr. Beach, Cape San Blas is home to St. Joseph State Park, as well as a variety of secluded beach front homes and small developments. The 2,516 acre state park stretches from the "tip" of the peninsula and continues for an uninhabited eight-mile stretch of towering dunes, untouched beaches & crystal clear waters. There is a boat launching facility within the park.
The "occupied area" of the peninsula stretches from the park entrance to Salinas Park. The Cape offers the tranquil waters of St. Joseph Bay on one side and white sand beaches along the Gulf of Mexico on the other. The area is known for great fishing, scalloping and a relaxed family setting. Port St. Joe is a ten-minute drive and offers quaint shopping, a full-service marina and coastal restaurants.
Cape San Blas and Indian Pass areas are considered low-density, low-rise areas with accommodations ranging from luxury beach estates to bay front homes with private boat docks.
